Merit beauty UGC job

Merit Beauty

Merit beauty is a brand redefining the approach to cosmetics. Their curated selection of makeup and skincare products aims to enhance natural beauty and streamline daily beauty routines.

At the heart of their philosophy lies a strong commitment to clean beauty. Their products are cruelty-free and devoid of harmful chemicals, aligning with their mission to provide consumers with safe and effective beauty essentials. Basically, their products work. Think that Sofia Richie clean girl look, but without the need for excessive makeup.

MERIT’s products transcend traditional beauty solutions; they represent a lifestyle. The brand promotes confidence and empowerment by encouraging individuals to embrace their own natural beauty.

βœ” What They Are Looking For

〰️ Content that can authentically showcase Merit in GRWM/make-up routine style videos.

〰️ Content that has an aesthetic look to it whilst still maintaining direct response marketing principles. There’s a lot of B-roll footage in current creative, so this would be a really nice upsell.

〰️ It only takes one quick look into the ad library to see that 98% of UGC creators used are white. Can you help with representation and allow them to reach a new audience?

βœ” What They Are Not Looking For

〰️ Purely functional content. Unlike most of our UGC job listings, Merit really emphasise the look. Not of the person, but of the content. Minimalist, aesthetic content.

πŸ’» Current Creative: Merit uses product demonstrations coupled with before + afters to show the efficiency of their products. Truth be told, the content is just a little *flat*. There’s loads of opportunity for improvement, and with 80 different creatives running on Meta and TikTok, they definitely have appetite for new UGC that can hit the right notes.
